Pollensa

Numero Ocho Brasserie (Tel 971 53 15 98 | www.brasserie8.com)

Plaza Major next door to the Café L’illa. This is a very good bistro style restaurant, extensive menu with something for everybody. The seafood pasta is excellent and they also do a lovely club sandwich everything is cooked from fresh on the premises including the lovely cakes baked by the owners wife. Something for everyone including the price. Open for breakfast right through until dinner, great food served all day

Il Giardino (Tel 971 53 43 | www.giardinopollensa.com)

Classic Italian Cuisine with French and Mediterranean touches, situated Main Square(Plaza Major) alongside Club Pollensa , the one with the large white umbrellas and stone frontage. Very good food excellent service. Higher price end but great location. Favourite restaurant of many of our guests.

Sa Trencadora (Tel 971 53 18 59)

150m from the Plaza Major. If you have the church in front of you, turn to your right and walk out the square between the Birrieria Bar and the Cologne de Pollença bank walk 150 meters, across the crossroad and you will arrive at the restaurant on your left. It has a sandwich board outside with the menu on. You will see a waterfall sculpture in the entrance. This offers local food along with Italian cuisine, they have a pizza oven and good fresh fish selection. Very good value in a lovely setting. One of our favourites is the sole fish which is often available as a local catch of the day special.

Clivia (Tel 971 53 36 35)

If you take the exit off the main square with Il Giardino on your right walk along this road to the end with the chemist on your right cross over the road keeping to your left you will see Clivia on your left next door to the estate agents. This is a very good fish restaurant with an extensive wine menu. They also offer a variety of other local dishes including meat & poultry. My favouritess are chiperones (lightly fried baby squid), pimientos de padron (small green peppers in rock salt).& Lobster Paella. Very good food with  waiters and owners that can seem a little abrupt but please bear with it as there is a friendly center to the .

Manzanas y Peras  ( Tel 971 53 532 292  | www.manzanasyperas.eu)

Their menus use fresh, quality ingredients predominantly from local suppliers, and they aim to provide tasty simple food that has been inspired by Mediterranean, Middle Eastern & Asian flavours. Tapas Feast Menu 28€ per head including wine, guaranteed you will not leave hungry. Mini feast for kids 11€, booking essential open for lunch Sunday to Friday, dinner Tuesday to Friday only, closed Saturday all day.

El Moli

This is a very traditional Mallorquin restaurant at the back of old town Pollensa, offering a real taste of what culinary delights Mallorca has to offer. If you go to the roundabout (la Boca & Paco Muebles) with the sign post for Lluc you will also see a sign for Pollença and a sign for the El Moli restaurant. If you park your car along this tree lined road and walk the last few minutes as it’s difficult to park in the town you will see the restaurant on the corner.

Puerto Pollensa

Stay (Tel 971 86 40 13 | www.stayrestaurant.com)

This appears to be everybody´s favourite restaurant serving up something for everyone and consistently good. Great setting, great service & great food. Lots to choose from they also offer a set menu which is good value for 3 courses including wine & water and handmade chocolates to finish. The A La Carte menu is very expensive but does have some exceptionally good dishes to tempt you to spend that little bit more.

The owners of this place also have another restaurant C’an Currassa along the bay road heading out to Alcudia which is also very good with a garden setting.

Na Ruixa (Tel 971 86 66 55)

If you walk along the sea front passing the Hotel Daina and all the little shops and restaurants on your left you will also pass the Mirador Hotel the walkway splits into two you will see an estate agents Bernard Hamilton to your left if you turn left just before the estate agents you will see Na Ruixa on the left hand side with tables on the terrace. This is a very popular restaurant with the locals serving traditional Mallorquin dishes.

Corb Mari  (Tel 971 86 70 40)

See directions above just past the estate agents you will find Corb Mari. They offer snacks on the terrace during the day which are very good and reasonable priced also the Grill restaurant which is open in the evening offers fabulous fresh fish and lots of meats to choose from which they then cook for you on the grill in the centre of the restaurant. This again is also a popular restaurant with the locals.

Tolos (Tel 971 86 40 46)

On the Seafront opposite the sail & surf school this is great in the daytime or evening to get a bite to eat with a range of snacks and meals to suit everybody. Good varied menu, open all day. Friendly waiters that have been there as long as the Port itself. Favourite hang out for Bradley Wiggens and the Sky team.
