If you've never been to Cala Sant Vicenç, let me paint you a picture: it's a hidden gem of a place where the mountains meet the sea, and time seems to slow down just for you. Tucked away on Mallorca's northern coast, Cala Sant Vicenç is the kind of spot that feels like a secret, even if you've read about it a hundred times before. When I arrived, I felt like I'd stumbled upon a well-kept secret—a series of quiet coves framed by dramatic limestone cliffs and crystal-clear waters that practically begged me to dive right in.
What makes Cala Sant Vicenç so special is its untouched charm. There are four beautiful beaches here—Cala Molins, Cala Clara, Cala Barques, and the more secluded Cala Carbó. Each one has its own personality, but they all share that perfect balance of golden sand and turquoise waves. My personal favourite was Cala Molins, where I could alternate between basking on the warm sands and snorkelling in the brilliantly clear water. The underwater views are mesmerizing, filled with schools of colourful fish darting among the rocks, making every swim feel like a little adventure.
The town itself is laid-back, the perfect contrast to some of Mallorca's busier tourist spots. I loved wandering around the narrow streets, finding little family-run tapas bars where locals chatted over their café con leche. Evenings are magical here—as the sun sinks behind the mountains, the sky turns a watercolour wash of pinks and purples, casting a warm glow over everything. I found myself at a terrace restaurant, enjoying some fresh seafood while watching the waves lap gently against the shore. It's these simple pleasures that make Cala Sant Vicenç so unforgettable. It's not just a destination, it's an experience that wraps you up and makes you feel like you belong.

About Cala Sant Vincenç

Cala San Vincente, also written as Cala Sant Vicenç, was originally a fishing village that supplied many of the nearby towns with seafood and gradually grew to be a part of Mallorca’s tourist industry. Despite getting placed more firmly on the map by the range of holiday accommodation on offer around the village, it still retains some of its original charm which is what attracts a lot of travellers to come and stay here.

Best Time to Visit

Cala San Vincente is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy a beach holiday in Mallorca, meaning that the best time to come and stay in the village is over the summer when the weather is at its warmest and driest. What our guests say

Fantastic home for a fantastic stay. We loved our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing time away. Top tips from us - don’t stress about parking, the roads are very narrow and parking isn’t easy so use the car park on the way in to Pollensa. It’s only a 5 minute walk and is very safe. There is a lovely bakery just 2 minute walk away on the main road in and not far from the chemist. Enjoy!

Great villa, comfortable beds, clean and the welcome pack was really appreciated. Good location and the pool and table tennis went down very well with everyone.

Charming and lovely townhouse in the old part of Pollenca. Recently refurbished to a very high standard. House is really well equipped. ACs in all the rooms meant it was never too hot even in the August. High walls give a lot of privacy and also make the sun more bearable. Pool was lovely. We quickly got used to parking in the side streets around the house, but it is also possible to park slightly outside the town. We used a car to go Puerto Pollenca to get to the fantastic beaches. Their Internet was good enough for video calls for work Communication with the manager was easy and quick. Would clearly recommend and also go back.

"The villa was very well presented, spotlessly clean, and surprisingly well equipped – it even had a tea-pot! The welcome pack was probably the best and most comprehensive I’ve seen!.. Pollenca is a good base if you want to have good access to the coast without being in a coastal resort."

We had a great stay and the communication with Colin was brilliant. The villa is very clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable. The pool area is fantastic and the steps in are great for children. The pool was also really warm considering it’s not heated and the view of the mountains is fantastic. Lovely quiet area but a 25 min walk into the square in Pollenca and 5 min drive to the Port. Lovely area and lots of great restaurants and beaches nearby. We were a family of 8 (7 adults and one child) and would definitely like to return :)
