About Es Trenc

Es Trenc Beach has long been a significant natural landmark in Mallorca, historically used for salt production due to the nearby Salobrar de Campos salt flats, where traditional salt harvesting still takes place today. Over the years, it has remained largely undeveloped, protected as part of a Natural Area of Special Interest to preserve its pristine beauty and ecological importance. During the Spanish Civil War, the area also held strategic value, with remnants of old bunkers still visible along the shoreline.

Best Time to Visit Es Trenc

The best time to visit is during late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October). During these months, the weather is warm and pleasant, perfect for beach days and outdoor activities, while avoiding the peak summer crowds. July and August are the hottest and busiest months, attracting sun-seekers looking for Mallorca’s famous turquoise waters, but the beach can get crowded, and parking may be limited. What our guests say

Fantastic home for a fantastic stay. We loved our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing time away. Top tips from us - don’t stress about parking, the roads are very narrow and parking isn’t easy so use the car park on the way in to Pollensa. It’s only a 5 minute walk and is very safe. There is a lovely bakery just 2 minute walk away on the main road in and not far from the chemist. Enjoy!

Charming and lovely townhouse in the old part of Pollenca. Recently refurbished to a very high standard. House is really well equipped. ACs in all the rooms meant it was never too hot even in the August. High walls give a lot of privacy and also make the sun more bearable. Pool was lovely. We quickly got used to parking in the side streets around the house, but it is also possible to park slightly outside the town. We used a car to go Puerto Pollenca to get to the fantastic beaches. Their Internet was good enough for video calls for work Communication with the manager was easy and quick. Would clearly recommend and also go back.

"The villa was very well presented, spotlessly clean, and surprisingly well equipped – it even had a tea-pot! The welcome pack was probably the best and most comprehensive I’ve seen!.. Pollenca is a good base if you want to have good access to the coast without being in a coastal resort."

We had a great stay and the communication with Colin was brilliant. The villa is very clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable. The pool area is fantastic and the steps in are great for children. The pool was also really warm considering it’s not heated and the view of the mountains is fantastic. Lovely quiet area but a 25 min walk into the square in Pollenca and 5 min drive to the Port. Lovely area and lots of great restaurants and beaches nearby. We were a family of 8 (7 adults and one child) and would definitely like to return :)
